Citrine Vial

Boom.

This past vacation, I got a chunk of citrine; the brittle nature of it's base and the richness of the color, combined with the price, led me to believe it is Amethyst that was artificially heated to produce citrine, and not naturally occurring.

Still, the colors are beautiful; from the brittle base I broke off what was loose, and slipped most of it into this little glass bottle. The cork is glued in, there is a headpin going through it for security, and it hangs from a loop bead. The piece will easily fit onto at least a 3mm cord, so if the chain is not appealing, it can be switched.
